Miss Grand Australia 2018

Miss Grand Australia 2018

Hey Styelle-ish Babes! Well that's another year of sponsorship for one of our greatest achievements done and dusted! We are referring to Miss Grand Australia of course! The genuine Stop the War and Violence campaign. We are so proud to have supported UN WOMEN through Miss Grand Australia and worked along side absolutely amazing companies such as United Images, De Lorenzo, NYX Cosmetics, OMT Formal Boutique, Prospectave Fashion, Moeloco Flipflop, Cruise GC and the ever stunning Pacific Breeze Australia. To say we were both honoured and excited (like a kid in a candy store) when we were invited back to sponsor the swimwear segment would be an understatement. Our third year in a row working with this amazing pageant, the contestants raised a whopping $49,640.00 for UN WOMEN with 100% of proceeds going to them. So much hustle and bustle was buzzing in the lead up to the National Finals with all the contestants bright eyed and bushy tailed focusing on that crown at the end. Only one can win though - with 4 runners up - first runner up and Best in Swimwear winner, Jasmine Leatham. That lucky one to take the crown is the absolutely stunning, humble, caring and electric personality, Kimberly Gundani. Her heritage is African/Australian and is from Melbourne. If you have ever presumed that "beauty pageant girls" are ditsy - Kimberley will change your perception real quick. A selected student at the prestigious King Edward IV Five Ways and now in her second year as a law student at Monash University - Kimberely is definitely not just a pretty face (though that is one really pretty face!). "I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to be Miss Grand Australia 2018. Miss Grand Australia has been a self-development journey and to be the first black African – Australian titleholder. To represent Australia in an international pageant is an honour. It has been an absolute pleasure to be sponsored by Styelle and their incredible director Charys. Her dedication to empower women showcases through her incredible and versatile, eco-conscious collection that caters to every woman. Styelle and Miss Grand Australia are advocates for women and children who are affected by domestic violence. As Miss Grand Australia, I will be visiting schools educating children and young people about the warning signs and impact of domestic violence. Teaching children and young people to recognise violence and not accept it will lead to violence free communities in the future. Thank you so much Styelle for you on-going support!"
